Care for Nature and Our Environment ...

Migratory egrets, a white colour water birds standing in the shallow lake looking for prey were commonly found at the wetland / lake behind my house from October to April/May each year. It is also common to see purple heron flying over the lake all year round. Posted by Picasa

Went for a walk around the lake behind our house with my dad one morning. Lo and behold we spotted this hot air balloon over the lake while the egrets were flocking away around the lake. What a sight to behold. But this sight will soon be history as dad said that there were plans to reclaim part of the lake for a commercial cum apartment project on this lake. What a shame!!!
